Mike Bessler’s passion is to create enhanced photographs on canvas that will capture the awe of nature. He particularly enjoys creating and printing large images that combine his artistic vision and his technical expertise.
Mike has been photographing professionally for
more than 25 years. His specialty is landscape photography.
He is a bit of a technologist. His professional computer usage
has been very useful as the photography world has gone digital.
Mike has been shooting digitally since 1999. He uses his
professional grade Nikon digital SLR cameras for the panoramic landscapes that
he loves to shoot.
His work has been shown at the Oakbrook Fine Art Invitational where he received a first place award. Some of his images can also be seen in the Carriage Trade Art Gallery in Long Grove. His work has been sold nation-wide to both private consumers and corporations.
Mike has donated generously to various charities including the Starlight - Starbright Foundation, the Jennifer S. Fallick Cancer Support Center, Edward Hospital Healing Arts program in Naperville, Illinois, and most recently the Muscular Dystrophy Associtaion.
Mike enjoys sharing his passion with others as he teaches photography workshops at Starved Rock State Park.

Scott Bessler is a partner in BesPhoto School of Photography Workshops. Scott has been teaching photography since 2004.
As a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Computer Engineering, he specializes in simplifying how people realize the full advantage of the functions and features of today's highly complicated photographic equipment.
Scott has been using digital cameras since 2004 and is familiar with a variety of different types (from point-and-shoot to SLR) and brands (from Canon to Fuji to Nikon and more) of cameras.
He currently uses his professional grade Canon digital SLR for the landscapes and sports images that he loves to shoot.
